Cadtek Design Studio is a full service commercial design and relocation firm established and owned by Ivette Lemons. A graduate of Columbia College of Chicago with a Bachelors Degree in Arts and major in Interior Architecture, she is an interior design professional with more than fifteen years of experience in the field of commercial interiors and project management. Her passion for functional design has been evident since she was a child efficiently planning Barbie’s “dream house” interior.
Lemons is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), a National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certificate holder, is licensed by the Illinois Board of Interior Design Professionals as well as a Wisconsin registered Interior Designer.
An instinctive problem-solver, Lemons leads the Cadtek Design Studio team to approach each new project as an exercise in the art of “solving the puzzle” – making space function to meet the unique needs of its occupants. Operating from the core belief that every space has potential, the team has become adept at maximizing the functionality of areas that were previously wasted or under-utilized. This creative and effective approach is applied to projects that span a range of environments from healthcare to corporate office venues.
Cadtek Design Studio is a certified member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and also a certified member of the Women Business Enterprise (WBE) with the City of Chicago. We routinely partner with furniture dealers, architects, contractors, real-estate brokers and of course, end-users to create an integrated, united and seamless approach to design. We have and continue to work successfully with companies that require us to function as an extension of their own in-house design department or as their entire design department.
